The Counseling Center is an outpatient mental health and addiction treatment center for adults and adolescents, for those seeking treatment for addiction, alcoholism, and co-occurring disorders associated with addiction and substance use. The Counseling Center at Cherry Hill offers aindividual and group mental health therapy, and a state-of-the-art substance abuse treatment program combining evidence-based and 12 step principles with an intense, focused Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) option, integrated into professionally-prepared treatment plans.
Nina Kamelia, MSW, LCSW, Clinical Director
Nina Kamelia, MSW, LCSW, is a graduate of Barry University with a Master's Degree in Social Work. For the past seven years, she worked as a clinician conducting assessments, facilitating groups, individual therapy and crisis prevention interventions.
As the clinical director of The Counseling Center at Cherry Hill, Nina ensures all clients treatment is as effective as possible. Her open-mindedness enables her to build rapport and establish trust with every client which helps them reach their goals and be a better version of themselves.
Christopher Huff, LSW, Counselor
Counselor Christopher Huff, MSW, LSW, has a Bachelor's in Psychology from Rowan University, and a Master's of Social Work from Rutgers University. While attending Rowan University, he had an opportunity to do an internship at S.O.D.A.T. of NJ where counseling clients with addiction and mental health disorders came naturally to him.
Chris instills the knowledge and insight needed for successful recovery. He is most rewarded when he sees the "lightbulb" come on in a client's head, when they understand why they behave and think the way they do, and then are able to make positive changes in their lives.
Lourdes Torres, Administrative Assistant
Lourdes Torres, a ten-year veteran working with both adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues, is the first face you will see at our center. She earned her Associate's Degree from Camden County College in Addictions Counseling. Her education and professional experience bring another level of expertise to The Counseling Center at Cherry Hill.
Tom Roskin, Community Outreach
Tom Roskin is the Marketing Representative for The Counseling Center throughout New Jersey and New York. Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and was born Roslyn, NY, giving him a dedication to the New York/New Jersey area that can only come from being a part of it. A dedicated family man Tom likes to spend his free time, playing golf, tennis, and working out, along with catching up on some reading, and of course spending quality time with his family.

Outpatient treatment is a perfect adjunct to inpatient rehabilitation, and for those who qualify, Intensive Outpatient is an effective, comprehensive program of treatment and follow-up care. The Counseling Center works hard to collaborate with treatment centers and providers to maintain a Continuum of Care in support of successful recovery.

The Counseling Center at Cherry Hill is an outpatient addiction treatment center for adults and adolescents seeking treatment for addiction, alcoholism, and co-occurring disorders associated with addiction and substance use. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) combines evidence-based, state of the art treatment with 12 Step principles. The IOP is an intense, focused experience designed to enable sober and productive living.
IOP may be recommended for individuals who do not require medically supervised detoxification, and who live within driving distance of the center, and for individuals who have recently completed residential treatment (rehab) and are in the early stages of recovery.
Eligibility for the IOP is based on a clinical assessment. Treatment is individualized, and full information on program options, costs, and schedules will be available after assessment.
